Selection and substitution of inductors
When selecting an inductor, the first consideration should be whether its performance parameters (such as inductance, rated current, quality factor, etc.) and external dimensions meet the requirements.
Small fixed inductors can be directly substituted with color code inductors and color ring inductors as long as their inductance, rated current, and external dimensions are the same.
The oscillating coils in semiconductor radios, although of different models, can be interchangeable as long as their inductance, quality factor, and frequency range are the same. For example, the oscillating coil LTF-1-1 can be directly substituted with LTF-3 and LTF-4.
The oscillating coil in the television should be selected as much as possible with the same model and specifications, otherwise it will affect its installation and the working status of the circuit.
The deflection coil is generally used in conjunction with the cathode ray tube and row/field scanning circuit. But as long as their specifications and performance parameters are similar, even if the models are different, they can be interchangeable with each other.
Selection and Replacement of Transformers
1. When selecting and replacing a power transformer, it should be matched with the load circuit. The power transformer should have a power margin (its output power should be slightly greater than the [sensitive word] power of the load circuit), and the output voltage should be the same as the AC input voltage of the power supply part of the load circuit. For general power circuits, an "E" type iron core power transformer can be selected. If the power circuit of a high fidelity audio power amplifier is used, a "C" type transformer or a toroidal transformer should be selected. For power transformers with the same iron core material, output power, and output voltage, their functions can usually be directly interchanged.
2. When selecting and replacing a TV output transformer, it is recommended to use a transformer that is the same as the original model as much as possible. Due to differences in the structure, pins, and secondary voltage values of row output transformers of different models and specifications. When selecting a row output transformer, it is necessary to visually inspect whether its magnetic core is loose or broken, and whether there are any poorly sealed areas on the appearance of the transformer. The new line output transformer should also be compared and measured with the original machine line output transformer to see if the pins are completely consistent with the internal winding. If there is no replacement of output transformers of the same model, it is also possible to use row output transformers with different pin numbers and positions for flexible substitution (such as swapping winding ends, changing pin order, etc.).
3. The selection and replacement of intermediate frequency transformers have a fixed resonant frequency. The intermediate frequency transformers of amplitude modulation radios, frequency modulation radios, and televisions cannot be interchanged, and the intermediate frequency transformers of audio and image in televisions cannot be interchanged. When selecting an intermediate frequency transformer, [sensitive word] choose an intermediate frequency transformer of the same model and specification, otherwise it will be difficult to operate normally. When selecting, the winding should also be checked for any broken wires or short circuits (collision between the coil and the shielding cover).
